    Integrations - Connect an Investorfuse Account to Zapier using the API Key

    Once you have successfully built your Zap, you will complete the process by routing your leads to your IF3 Market Space. This article will show you what needs to be done with the Zap, and how to obtain the API Key needed for this integration.

    Connecting to IF3

    1. Click on the drop down for accounts associated and scroll to the bottom

    2. Click Add a New Account

    Upon clicking Add a New Account, it will open a new prompt in a different window which will show you the image below. It requires the API Key in order for you to proceed. 




    You reached the point where you need to connect your Market Space to the Zap that you just built. Instead of having to use the same user name and password combination to build an authentication, InvestorFuse now offers a simpler way of connecting itself to Zapier.

    In this article, we will show you how to obtain the API Key from your InvestorFuse Market Space. An API key is more of a unique identifier for a customer's Market Space. You can use this unique identifier to perform an InvestorFuse Integration in Zapier.

    Obtaining the API Key from your market space

    1. Click on your pofile picture
    2. Select My Settings
    3. Go to API Key
    4. If this is your first time integrating your market space using Zapier, click on Generate New Api Key
    5. If there is already an existing Api Key, copy it
    CAUTION!

    Generate an API key only if this is your first time integrating to your InvestorFuse Market Space. The authentication of the API key should remain on your Zapier account and should be used on any integration moving forward. Generating a new API key, while the current API key is in use may disable previous integrations. 


    6. Paste the obtained API Key inside the Zapier prompt
    7. Click Yes, Continue


    8. If the API Key was correct and the authentication was successful, you will see an InvestorFuse account added to the list
    9. Click Continue to proceed with routing over the fields
