Article Summary

Tasks can be added to your Opportunity Actions in order to create and track Tasks that are more flexible and outside of the flow of the regular Actions. You can create Tasks for yourself or other people on your team for anything you deem necessary and due whenever you decide. Your tasks will appear within the same list as you Actions and you can sort and filter as needed to view them. 

An example of when you would use a Task: Your Action Follow Up with Seller is due in four days. You create a task for your VA to research the property two days from now so you have everything you need well before the Action is due. You can see Tasks within the Team Action Pipeline so if you are the owner of your account you can see what everyone has on their plate and whether they are completing their work on time. 

Task List 

A task can only be added after the Opportunity Action has been created and they need to be added from within the Action. Tasks are associated with your Opportunity however so tasks added to any Action at any point will attach to the Opportunity and stick there until they are completed.

Find the Opportunity Action from where you want to view your Tasks. From within your Action, you'll see the Tasks section for this Opportunity. 

1. Any existing open tasks will be listed with the Task Name, Assignee, and due date

2. To view completed tasks scroll to the bottom of the list and click Show completed tasks. Click Hide Completed tasks to re-hide them. 


Add a Task 

From the same location as above:  

  1. Click + the add icon to the right of the Tasks section
  2. Enter the name of the task. This is what the user will see in their Actions list.
  3. Enter a description for the task
  4. Select an Assignee from the dropdown menu
  5. Select the Due Date. Click 📅 the calendar icon to select a date manually
  6. Type in a time of day if applicable. Click 🕐 the Clock icon to select the specific time and AM/PM from a dropdown menu
  7. Click the three dots to the right of the time to select a on-the-hour time from a list
  8. Click Create


Use Task Templates

If you have Task Templates saved, you can select them here. 

Templates Functionality
Templates is only available to Pro and Premium plans. If you are on Essentials and would like to upgrade, please email billing@investorfuse.com or send our support team a chat.


  1. Click + the add icon to the right of the Tasks section
  2. Click Select Task from Task Template and choose one from the drop-down
  3. Assign someone to the task and add a due date if empty
  4. Click Create

Edit or Delete a Task

  1. To edit an existing Tasks click the Pencil icon to the right of the task 
  2. Edit the Task title, Description, Assignee, or Due date accordingly
  3. Click Update
  4. Click 🗑️ the trash can icon to delete the task

Complete a Task

1. To complete a Task, click the checkbox next to the task name



Reply-to-Seller Tasks
Reply-to-Seller Tasks are automatically created by the system if a message from a seller or a secondary inbound webhook submission is received. These Tasks are also automatically completed if you send an outbound message to the seller.
